Crimson Desert has a growing mod scene on Nexus Mods — quality-of-life tweaks, ReShade presets, armor and character mods, plus mod managers to keep them organised.
Crimson Desert launched as a single-player experience on PC, and the community has built a large mod library on Nexus Mods — more than 1,300 mods at the time of writing. Because there is no always-online requirement, mods are straightforward to install and safe to use in your own playthrough.
The most popular category is Gameplay & QoL: stamina tweaks, cooldown and sprint adjustments, inventory expansion and convenience fixes that tighten the action-RPG feel. Visual mods follow close behind — ReShade presets, sharpening and colour-grading configs that make Pywel pop. Armor and character mods round out the scene, letting you restyle Kliff, Oongka and Damiane.
Two mod managers dominate the scene: CDUMM (Crimson Desert Ultimate Mods Manager) and DMM (Definitive Mod Manager). Both let you install mods by dragging and dropping ZIP files, enable or disable them per playthrough and keep them updated as the game receives patches.
