The cast of Crimson Desert — from the determined mercenary Kliff to the playable allies who join his journey.

Kliff

Protagonist

Leader of the Greymane faction. After a night-time ambush by the Black Bears leaves his comrades dead or scattered, Kliff sets out to reunite the survivors and rebuild the faction — even as he uncovers conspiracies that threaten the order of the continent.

Kliff is the central hero of Crimson Desert's story and the first playable character.

Oongka

Playable Ally

One of two new playable characters who join Kliff as the tale unfolds. Oongka has his own combat style, unique skills and weapons, and can freely explore Pywel and undertake quests outside the main story.

Switching between playable characters changes how you experience exploration and battle.

Damiane

Playable Ally

The second new playable character in Crimson Desert. Like Oongka, Damiane brings a distinct combat style and unique arsenal, letting players experience the world and its battles in different ways.

Each playable hero unlocks more ways to complete quests across Pywel.

The Black Bears

Enemy Faction

The sworn enemies of the Greymanes whose devastating ambush scatters Kliff's faction. Their attack sets the entire story of Crimson Desert in motion.
